Helmut Schmidt Auditorium

Commanding and cutting-edge

Proud centerpiece of the campus

The auditorium of Bucerius Law School is located between the old Botanical Institute and the main entrance of the restored older building. Although modern, its design is suggestive of the historical concept of the garden pavilion ensconced in a landscaped park.

When looking at the auditorium from the outside, we see the main older building reflected in the glass façade. And when inside the auditorium, standing at the podium, lecturers have a view of the greenery of the Planten and Bloomen park.

The space between the main building and the auditorium has been beautifully landscaped, allowing students to meet and engage between classes.
